As always we will also being having our annual Research Promotion silent and live auction. All proceeds will go towards our Research Promotion goal and ASHRAE. Please make plans to attend and register!

As always, our chapter is looking for anyone who would like to be more involved and/or contribute ideas to help make our chapter the best. Please contact me if this describes you in any way.
I wish everyone safe and happy holidays and a great start to 2019!
Chapter Technology Transfer and Programs
As we all fill out our calendars for what is sure to be a busy time of the year, here are a few more dates to pencil in and a look at what we have ahead for the ASHRAE year.
Next up is our annual holiday party and RP auction on December 13th at the Natural Science Center. It looks to be a great time at a unique venue, and I look forward to seeing you all there!
January's meeting is still to be determined but has planned emphasis on Government Advocacy. Further details to come as we get them worked out.
ASHREAE Distinguised Lecturer Devin Abelon has been rescheduled for February 21st. We had great registration for his (un)Ethical Engineer discussion before we had to cancel, so mark your calendars now!
Last but certainly not least, March will play host to ASHRAE Society President Sheila Hayter's visit to North Piedmont. Stay tuned for details and info on the remaining meetings in a future newsletter!
Rob O'Berry, VP/CTTC Chair
Please make plans to join us for our annual RP Auction at our Christmas Party on December 13th at the Greensboro Science Center. As many of you already know, this is the premier event of the year and we are looking forward to a fantastic evening once again.
It's that time of year, the half way point for the 2018-2019 year. And yes it is almost Christmas time. NP is still heading in the right direction with membership.
I would like to welcome (3) two new members
David Webb, PE
Walter Van Wagenen (Transfer)
Please make sure you invite a non-member to the Christmas Party on Dec 13, 2018. This is not only an RP event, but a MP event also. Great opportunity to bring a guest and have a great evening.
We are planning a MP / Yea event for Januaray or Februray. Please be on the lookout for annoucement.
See everyone at the Christmas Party.
Thanks to Jamaal Carter for hosting a Christmas get together on campus last week, complete with food drink and games. He also presented a framed letter thanking the chapter for our donation to assist 5 students to attend the Winter Meeting.
Best wishes for a successful completion of the semester and a joyous and restful holiday season. We hope to see you back in Greensboro soon following the holidays.
