Message from the President
I hope you can come and celebrate with us, Thursday December 5th, for our annual Christmas party and RP Auction at the Greensboro Science Center!
It's hard to believe we are closing out, not only another calendar year, but a decade as well. 2020 is just around the corner! I hope you all can take some time for reflection this holiday season. We trully have a great deal to be thankful for. I am grateful for this industry that provides us all a means of making a living, and this organization of folks seeking to better themselves and the world around them, and this group of colleages from whom I learn so much.
I wish everyone a joyous close to 2019 and a great start for the new year!
Chapter Technology Transfer and Programs
First, I would like to give a BIG Thank You to Tom Phoenix for presenting at our November meeting and I want to give an equally BIG Thank you to everyone that attended.
As we all fill out our calendars for what is sure to be a busy time of the year, here are a few more dates to pencil in and a look at what we have ahead for the ASHRAE year.
Next up is our annual holiday party and RP auction on December 5th at the Natural Science Center. This will be our second year at this amazing venue. They say that sequels are never as good as the original, so let’s make this the exception to the rule!
January's meeting is still to be determined but we are working on making it a great one so we can start the new year with a bang! More details to come as we get them worked out.
Miguel Marquez, VP/CTTC Chair
Do you have a co-worker that is not an ASHRAE member? Bring them to the next meeting and let them see what we are all about. At a lunch meeting you have an opportunity to interact with Engineers, Contractors, Vendors, Building Owners, and many other experts in the HVAC industry. It is a great way to network and talk to others about various topics relevant to our industry.
I also want to welcome a new memeber this month Patrick Hayes
I hope our student members had a restful Thanksgiving holiday with loved ones and recharged for the final push of the Fall semester. Good luck with exams!
Happy Holidays! We look forward to seeing you in 2020.
Mark and Joseph
