Message from the President
Greetings North Piedmont! In case you missed it, our February meeting was a big one as North Piedmont welcomed Society President Darryl Boyce to Greensboro. Mr. Boyce was kind enough to pack 3 meetings into about a 6 hour span as he helped us say “thank you” to our sponsors, visit our student members at A&T University, and present to our chapter lunch meeting at Sedgefield Country Club. Thanks to all who could make it out!
I want to say thank you again to all our sponsors. Without their help, none of what we do each year would be possible. Thank you! Please contact our RP Chair, Adam Hoffman, with sponsorship inquiries.
Coming up, we have a couple of great meetings in the works to round out the year, as well as our Spring Golf Outing, and perhaps a new special event will get squeezed in.
Each year, our chapter's operations are made possible by a small group of sponsors. Of their generous contributions, the majority goes to ASHRAE research. However, a small portion also goes to fund our Chapter's meetings and special events. These folks are recognized at each of our meetings, but I would like to take this opportunity to recognize them here as well.

Thank you for your support!
If you would like more information about becoming a sponsor, please contact Adam Hoffman ([email protected]).
In other news, the date for the Spring Golf Outing has been set. Mark your calendars and assemble your foursomes for May 22nd at Bryan Park.
Society President, Darryl Boyce, visited Campus last month and discussed his progression through ASHRAE. He also discussed the many benefits of ASHRAE membership with the students.
The Chapter sponsored student membership application fees and eleven students joined the Student Branch. More student memberships are pending.
We look forward to seeing the new student members at our chapter events!
